Guardianship Requirements for a Frosted Goldendoodle

1. Location and Living Environment:

· The guardian home must have a safe and comfortable living space suitable for a puppy.

· The home should be located in a pet-friendly neighborhood with access to parks and outdoor spaces.

· A secure, fenced yard or outdoor area is required for the puppy to play and exercise.

2. Time and Attention:

· The guardian family must have a flexible schedule or be able to provide sufficient time and attention to the puppy's needs, including feeding, training, socialization, and exercise.

· Puppies need companionship, so the guardian family should not leave the puppy alone for extended periods.

3. Experience and Commitment:

· Previous experience with raising and training dogs is preferred, but a willingness to learn and commitment to puppy care is essential.

· The guardian family must commit to regular veterinary check-ups, vaccinations, and preventive care as recommended by the breeder or veterinarian.

4. Training and Socialization:

· The guardian family agrees to participate in basic obedience training and socialization classes for the puppy.

· Exposing the puppy to various environments, people, and other animals is crucial for proper development.

5. Nutrition and Health:

· The puppy's diet should be based on high-quality, veterinarian-approved dog food.

· The guardian family must follow the breeder's guidelines for feeding, grooming, and health maintenance.

6. Breeding-Related Responsibilities:

· The guardian family agrees to provide access to the puppy for breeding-related purposes, including health screenings and genetic testing, as required by the breeder.

· The puppy may need to be temporarily returned to the breeder for breeding purposes. The guardian family should be prepared to facilitate this arrangement.

7. Health and Wellness Records:

· The guardian family must maintain accurate records of the puppy's health, training, and development milestones.

· Regular communication with the breeder and sharing of health records is essential.
