2 Year Health Guarantee
Our commitment to the health of every puppy we place.
Health
When you purchase a puppy, the Seller (Frosted Goldendoodles) guarantees the dog to be in a healthy condition and is free from any illness at the time of sale. The dogs have been evaluated by a veterinarian within 3 weeks of the time of sale and have received a healthy grade. If any item is brought up with the veterinarian, it will be discussed with the buyer. All puppies will be sold up to date in vaccinations and deworming.
If, prior to 24 months of age, it is determined that the Puppy found to have a congenital health defect that prevents the Puppy from participating in normal daily activities, or takes the life of the puppy the buyer will follow the following guidelines:
- Notification of Health Issue:
- The buyer must promptly notify the Seller upon discovering a health issue in the puppy.
- Veterinary Examination:
- The buyer is required to obtain a written diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian confirming the genetic or health issue in question.
- Submission of Documentation:
- The buyer submits the veterinarian's diagnosis along with any supporting documentation to the Seller within a specified time frame, often within seven (7) days of diagnosis.
- Evaluation by Seller:
- Seller will review the documentation to verify that the health issue falls within the terms of the health guarantee.
If Buyer can show that it has met the requirements, Frosted Goldendoodles offers two options:
I: Replacement
- At expense of Buyer, Puppy will be returned to Frosted Goldendoodles in healthy condition other than with respect to the health defects or issues giving rise to the return of Puppy.
- Buyer will provide all health records for Puppy since the original receipt of Puppy.
- Buyer will be placed into the current waiting list for the next available litter.
- Shipping expenses of a replacement puppy will be at the expense of Buyer.
- Only one replacement puppy will be given to the buyer, despite the number of health defects in the Puppy.
II: Partial Refund
- If the health issue is deemed to be covered by the guarantee, the seller calculates the partial refund in the following manner:
- Seller will cover the health expenses up to 50% of the cost of the dog (minus fees paid by Seller) as a one-time coverage.
- In the manner there are not health expenses at the time of discovery (i.e., later complications or death), Seller will refund 50% of the cost of the dog (minus fees paid by Seller).
- Refund Process:
- Seller will issue a partial refund as described above to the buyer in a timely manner.
